FREE (yes free) Money from Google Ad Grants

You may not have won the Mega Millions, but you could “win” up to $10,000 per month of in-kind advertising money. Google Ad Grants provide in-kind money to qualifying nonprofits to help them achieve goals, extend messages, and make an impact through digital advertising.

This opportunity allows more nonprofits, and essentially more people, to make a difference in communities worldwide. In fact, last year 51,000 nonprofits were connected to their target audiences. There were 1.8 billion website clicks through the awarded grant money.

The first step is to see if your nonprofit is eligible. According to the Eligibility Guidelines, organizations must hold a valid charity status. Governmental entities and organizations, hospitals and medical groups, schools, academic institutions, and universities are not eligible for the Google Ad Grants.

Organizations that qualify will be able to reach the audiences that matter most to them. The search ads can be used to improve brand awareness, drive more people to website pages, increase the number of volunteers, donations, and more.

Google Analytics helps track the campaign the whole time. Users are able to see what keywords are working and those that are not. At any time, keywords that are not helping achieve organizations goals can be paused. To find out more about Google Ads, check out this blog!
