Agristo, an international potato producer from Belgium, placed a bullseye on Grand Forks, North Dakota as the location of their first U.S. based facility – proving to be one of the region’s most significant private investments in recent history. As a global leader in frozen potato products establishing roots in the U.S., Agristo needed a thoughtful, culturally aware introduction that would reach local residents, growers, and civic leaders effectively. AE2S Communications partnered with Agristo to create a strong, positive foundation for its arrival and eventual potato production, setting the tone for long-term community relationships, workforce growth, and economic impact.
Our team led a comprehensive communications effort that included strategy development, stakeholder engagements, event planning, media relations, and ongoing outreach. We created a robust communications plan; executed two major stakeholder events attracting more than 1,700 attendees; translated Agristo’s European brand identity for U.S. audiences; coordinated with growers, elected officials, and industry partners; and provided consistent messaging throughout the project’s timeline. From large-scale public events to targeted agricultural communication and content development, this project demonstrates our ability to introduce companies to new markets, build community trust, and guide clients through every phase of a high-profile expansion.
